General Fees

The client can expect the following:

  1. The client should expect that the clinician will explain the problems identified, the differential diagnoses, the recommended diagnostic procedures that will help lead to a diagnosis, treatment protocols, and prognosis.
  2. All clients should feel free to ask questions concerning fees, medical treatment, treatment options, risks of treatment, treatment alternatives and expected outcome of treatment.
  3. Unless requested, estimates will only be given if the bill is anticipated to exceed $150 ECD. All clients have the right to an estimate of fees. If further diagnostics or treatment will exceed the original estimate, or the course of treatment must be altered, the client will be notified and updated, and client approval will be obtained before further treatment.
  4. Payment is expected before the patient is discharged.
  5. If a patient is hospitalized, 50 percent of the estimate is due in advance, and the remainder is due upon discharge. The estimate will be reviewed daily and updated by the clinician as necessary. The clinician or designated individual will inform the client of the new estimate at which time the client will be expected to update their deposit.
