Care Providers

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) clinicians, clinical faculty, interns, staff and students provide clinical services.

Students who are pursuing the doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree as well as interns who are engaged in postgraduate training, actively participate with VTH general clinicians, clinical faculty specialists and staff in many phases of patient care.

VTH general clinicians hired to oversee this practice, with student involvement on different levels, conduct the majority of patient care. Clinical faculty rotates through the clinic on designated afternoons.

The result is that the patient benefits from the expertise of a focused, communicative clinical team that includes veterinary medical generalists and specialists as well as future veterinarians.

Please expect appointments to take longer than expected if teaching is involved.
