Student ID's

It is the policy that all persons at the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) shall be in possession of RUSVM identification while on campus. It is encouraged that all persons wear the ID in a conspicuous place.

Students are provided with a pictured ID free of cost when they first arrived. If IDs are lost, there is a replacement fee of EC$25.00. The student need to go to the Students’ Services desk, make the payment, and obtain the replacement from the office of the Deputy Director of Safety & Security and obtain the replacement.

IDs are the property of RUSVM and are not to be given or loaned to other persons. No person shall use the ID of another person, as it is a serious disciplinary offence.

IDs are issued to visitors to campus. Persons that are short termed visitors will be issued with a regular Visitor’s ID, while long term visitors who are staying at the campus residence will be issued with long term IDs that would permit multiple entries to campus. All IDs are to be returned to the Safety & Security officers at the expiration of the visit. To ensure the ID is returned, the visitor will leave a personal ID with the security officer and it will be returned when the visitor returns the RUSVM ID.

All Faculty and Staff are also provided with pictured RUSVM IDs that are to be worn when on campus. When entering campus, all students, faculty and staff, are required to present their IDs to the Safety & Security Officer. It is the responsibility of the ID holder to show their ID, rather than been asked to produce it.
