Library Aquisitions
The library's acquisitions program will include printed materials primarily in the forms of books and journals. Generally, the subject content and scope of these materials will support the curriculum and assist faculty in keeping abreast of developments and trends in their respective areas of expertise as well as collections of books covering aspects of the curriculum. These types of books would be on such subjects as informatics, computers, academic administration and teaching materials for improving pedagogical abilities and skills.
Basically, this broadly includes the following subject areas: all the disciplines that the veterinary medical sciences cover, all animal diseases, veterinary medicine as it relates to human public health, epizootic and zoonotic diseases. The subjects listed below are the primary areas of the veterinary medical sciences that the collection is to cover:
