Superintendent's Welcome

Dear Parents and Students,

It is my pleasure to welcome all students, parents, teachers, and prep school faculty and staff to the new school year at the RUSVM Preparatory School.

I like to think of the prep school as more than a place where children come to learn. I think of it as a place where families come together as a supportive community. In that spirit, I invite each of you to become actively involved in the prep school this year, to celebrate our successes and to support one another as a school family.

The school was developed to provide a U.S. curriculum for the children of faculty and students of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. We have now extended our borders and have admitted selected students from the community, beyond Ross University, to benefit both those students seeking an excellent education and our RUSVM family students. As we look at the growing roster of students at our school and the diversity of cultures and nationalities of our student body, it makes us realize that we are truly participants in a global society. As you know, the citizens of today must learn to understand and celebrate cultures and differences. This is imperative for the future of our children. The Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine Preparatory School offers this opportunity to both students and parents.

To our parents: We are delighted to have you as a part of our RUSVM Preparatory School community and look forward to working closely with you to provide the best educational environment possible for your children. Please read the handbook and be totally familiar with all policies, procedures, and expectations.

To our students: We believe that you are going to have an exciting, positive experience at our school. You will discover that it is a very special place where you will create memories that will last a lifetime. We have high standards and great expectations and know you will not let us down!
