The educational quality of any university is inherently tied to the quality of its faculty. At Ross University, we strive to provide a climate that encourages, supports and values the contributions of each faculty member to our students success.

Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine has over 60 full-time faculty with outstanding credentials as veterinarians, teachers, and researchers. All of our faculty have D.V.M. or Ph.D.s, while some have both, and 20 clinical faculty are board certified in one or more clinical specialties.

In short, our faculty have outstanding credentials in teaching and research and share a passion for educating the veterinarians of tomorrow. Our faculty selected Ross University because of their dedication to educating the veterinarians of the future.

Ross University was founded in 1978 and is a provider of medical and veterinary education offering doctor of medicine and doctor of veterinary medicine degree programs affiliated with Ross. The School of Veterinary Medicine is located in St. Kitts. The School of Medicine is located in Dominica, West Indies.

The first seven semesters of pre-clinical training at the School of Veterinary Medicine are taught in St. Kitts over a 28-month period. Semesters eight through ten are spent completing clinical studies at one of 21 AVMA-accredited U.S. veterinary schools. Ross University students are held to high standards and must pass the National Veterinary Licensing Board (NAVLE), as well as the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG), or the Program for Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE).

Ross University invites applications for faculty positions. Applicants in all areas of veterinary medicine are welcome. Rank will be commensurate with qualification. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in the related areas, a strong commitment to excellent research and teaching, and evidence of outstanding research accomplishments or potential.
