Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) established the Vet Prep Program for prospective veterinary students. The curriculum was designed for students hoping to attend RUSVM in order to prepare them to meet the rigorous demands of the veterinary medicine curriculum. Courses include writing and math in addition to preparatory anatomy, histology, microbiology, physiology, and a hands-on clinical applications course to give students practical experience to demonstrate what they have learned in their core classes. The curriculum also includes classes in study skills, library and technology skills, and Informatics (the science of information, the practice of information processing, and the engineering of information systems). An integrated approach is used in teaching this Program in order to enhance meaning, understanding, and retention of information.
The Housing Officer for RUSVM will arrange housing for Vet Prep students.
Vet Prep students will attend the orientation at the beginning of the semester along with first semester students.
Vet Prep students will have the same registration schedule as first semester students and will follow the same procedures.
