White Coat Ceremony

The White Coat Ceremony celebrates the incoming class of students as they begin their journey in veterinary medicine. In this ceremony, students are officially welcomed to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) and to the beginning of their veterinary education. The ceremony symbolizes the importance of professionalism and ethical values as key elements in becoming a veterinarian.
RUSVM will webcast its White Ceremony, live, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (4:00 p.m. EST). The broadcast will be available in real time allowing for family members and friends of Ross University to view the presentation as it occurs.

About Jon-Paul Carew, DVM '01
Dr. Jon-Paul Carew gained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Biology in 1997, before graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.
Dr. Carew was born in Long Island, New York and grew up in Coral Springs, Florida. He has been practicing veterinary medicine in South Florida since October 2001. Carew joined the staff of TLC Animal Hospital in April 2011. TLC Animal Hospital is a busy four doctor small animal hospital in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Carew enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine including surgery and exotic medicine. He has a special interest in pain management and anesthesia. Carew has plans to establish his own small animal hospital within the next five years.
