RUSVM Student, Krista Keller, Receives AAV Award

Ross University student, Krista Keller, receives the Association of Avian Veterinarians Student Manuscript Award from Dr. Laurie Hess, past president of AAV.

Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate, Krista Keller received the Student Manuscript Award from the Association of Avian Veterinarians. Keller’s manuscript focused on “Hydrocephalus in a yellow-headed Amazon parrot (Amazona ochro-cephala oratrix).” She presented her work at the Association’s annual conference held July 31- August 5 in San Diego, Calif. Keller completed her clinical training at Tufts University in Massachusetts and is now a companion animal rotating intern at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
