It may seem far off today, but once you complete medical school and receive your medical degree, your first real goal is to obtain your residency. Count on Ross to help you. Each year, virtually every student who receives their M.D. from Ross University goes immediately into a residency in the U.S. in a wide range of specialties: anesthesiology, neurology, psychiatry, radiology, surgery and more.

In fact, Ross University places more students into U.S. residencies than any other medical school in the world.

After graduation, Ross students are eligible to practice medicine in all 50 U.S. states, Canada and Puerto Rico upon successful completion of the requisite licensing examinations.

Accepted students are eligible for government and private loan programs. In fact, Ross University is one of only three Caribbean-based medical schools that is permitted to offer United States citizens and permanent residents attending Ross University School of Medicine the ability to apply for federal Stafford Loans under the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) program.

"I decided to go into medicine a little late in my undergraduate career so by the time I completed my prerequisite courses for medical school I would have had to wait a year to apply to U.S. schools. So instead I applied right to Ross. I loved Ross. I had a great experience both in Dominica and during my clinicals in the States."
