Application for Master Educator Training Program

Dear Alumni,

Ross University School of Medicine seeks candidates for its Master Educator Training Program (METP) starting every September. This one-year program is open to recent MD and PhD graduates in the basic sciences. Four (4) positions are available every year. The Applications will be accepted through February every year for a Fall (September) start. 

Each trainee will be placed as an Instructor/Fellow and will receive an annual stipend plus health care coverage and other professional development expenses like conference attendance, relocation and travel expenses including travel to Dominica.

This is an ideal program for recent graduates planning a career in teaching at a medical school and medical education. Participants receive hands-on experience in a wide range of educational activities, including problem-based learning, one-on-one teaching, curriculum design, educational theory, leadership/mentoring, learner/program evaluation and educational research.
