Dr. Shiv Dhiman received his B.Sc from Kanpur University, India. In 1996, he received his MBBS from Punjabi University in Patiala, India and completed his medical internship at the Government Hospital. Following his internship, he attended residencies in Pediatrics and Psychiatry at Government Hospital, Chandigarh, India. He also worked there as a Medical officer in community Medicine.
After working as a Medical Health Officer for several years at Punjab Civil Medical Services in India, Dr. Dhiman joined the department of Accident & Emergency Medicine at Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation in Guyana, South America in 2003 and then he worked at Victoria Hospital in St. Lucia. In 2006, he completed the BLS training conducted by the Barbados Heart Foundation. In St. Lucia, he was also teaching medical students at the International American University and was a member of promotions committee. As an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of Americas (MUA) in St. Kitts and Nevis, he taught Gross Anatomy and Neuroscience. Dr. Dhiman was awarded the most favorite Professor among the first semester medical students during his tenure at the University. At MUA, Dr. Dhiman was the Chair of the Faculty Development Committee and a member of the Promotions Committee. He came to Ross University in 2009 and currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Ross University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He teaches Anatomy and Neuroscience for second semester students and also conducts PBL sessions. He likes travelling and listening to music.
