Dr. Veerabhadra Gowda MD, degree was awarded for research into effect of Cyanodon dactylon on Peptic ulcers by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, followed by four and half years as a Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Melaka Manipal medical college (Kasturba ), India.. This was then followed by three years as Chair of the Department of Physiology, Pharmacology and Molecular sciences at St Matthews University School of Medicine in Cayman Islands. One year in the same institute as Chair of ICM and clinical therapeutics, before arriving at Ross University. Previously also worked as medical officer at primary health centre and blood bank
