Dr. David Sacks completed his B.A. in English and M.A. in Education at Stanford University. After working full-time as a high school teacher, coach, and counselor, he earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (with a Sport Psychology focus) from Florida State University. He then earned a doctoral respecialization in Counseling Psychology and completed his psychology residency and post-doctoral training at Vanderbilt University's Counseling and Medical Centers. Prior to coming to Ross University, he was a Staff Psychologist and Sport Psychology Director at the Vanderbilt Counseling Center. He continues to maintain a license as a Psychologist in the State of Tennessee. Dr. Sacks lives in Dominica with his wife and three children. His hobbies include fishing, kayaking, and grappling.
