Dr. Rajdeo Kalliecharan, Ph.D was awarded for research into “A developmental study of corticosteroids in plasma and adrenal glands of chick embryos” by Dalhousie University, followed by one year of Post-doc in the department of Pediatrics at Dalhousie University and one year in the department of Periodontal Physiology at the University of Toronto. This was then followed by five years in the department of Biology at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada as an Assistant Professor to teach Histology and Embryology. This was followed by a move to Trinidad to the University of the West Indies in the department of Zoology. A return to Canada was made to Dalhousie University in the department of Anatomy and Neurobiology to teach Human Histology and Embryology as an Associate Professor for 9 years before arriving at Ross University.
