Dr Mirna Challenger received her medical degree from Havana University, Cuba in 1983. After completing 5 years of training she was awarded her Degree in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from Havana University in 1988. Since then Dr Challenger has served for 22 years as a Reconstructive Surgeon and a pioneer in the caribbean of Laser’s Techniques for Aesthetic and Skin conditions.

Dr. Challenger has completed post graduate courses in the Actualization in Caumatology, Normal and Pathology Development, Head & Neck Reconstruction, – International Course about Multiple Traumas, Nutrition “Institute of Investigation for the Nourishment", Computation, Acupuncture, Microsurgery, Laser Training (Diode, IPL, Q SWITCH, YAG LASER. Micro beam).

She is a member of the Caribbean Society of Surgeons, the Dominica Medical Association and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAP)

Dr. Challenger has been employed in the Department of Anatomy at Ross University School of Medicine since 2005.
