Dr. Cazalis’ Ph.D., degree was awarded for research into Cognitive Neuroscience by the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, followed by one year as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology at University of California Los Angeles, then four years as a post-graduate researcher at the Neuropsychiatric Institute of University of California Los Angeles, followed by an assistant researcher position in the same department. Dr.Cazalis’ research focused on executive functions in patients with Traumatic Brain injury, as measured using functional MRI. A mother of two, Dr.Cazalis joined the Anatomy department of Ross University as an Assistant professor of Neuroscience in 2007.

 

Courses and other activities

Dr. Cazalis teaches clinical neuroscience. She has maintained research activity on campus, including cognitive science study and medical education research. Dr. Cazalis is also studying ethnobotany.
