Dr. O’Callaghan is an experienced instructor and researcher specializing in adults with ADHD. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Houston in Educational Psychology-Individual Differences. As a graduate student, she served as the program manager for the Attention Problem/Impulsivity Clinic at the University of Houston where she provided comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for ADHD. At Ross University, Dr. O’Callaghan is interested in continuing her research to help students with ADHD reach their educational potential.
Dr. O’Callaghan received her B.S. degree in Secondary Education – Biology from Western Oregon University. She began her teaching career in Kenya, West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Dr. O’Callaghan lives in Dominica with her husband and son. She is a member of several organizations including the American Psychological Association (APA), Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit Disorder (CHADD) and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Her hobbies include snorkeling, sailing and collecting sea glass.
