HOW TO LOGIN to EMAIL for E-Mail Access
To use the email service provided by Ross University, point your Web Browser (Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher) to: Ross U.S. (NJ and Miami) | Ross Dominica | Ross St. Kitts
NOTE TO AOL USERS: You must use an alternative browser to access the email web server. Please start your AOL session normally, and login to AOL. Then MINIMIZE the AOL browser, and start Internet Explorer (version 5.01 or later) or Netscape (version 4.8 or later). Then enter the URL above and follow the directions below. (Note: you must include the domain name as described below) You will see the following screen, please enter our domain (ROSSNY - NJ/Miami) followed by a “\” and your username in the login box here. NOTE: Please select “PREMIUM” and “PRIVATE” for the client settings as shown in the graphic below. Click “Log on” to enter your mailbox.

You will then see the OWA 2003 version of your inbox….

Problems Users May encounter.
If you experience problems replying to emails, opening email attachments, or attaching a file to an email, after logging into your mailbox, please clear your temporary Internet files and cookies. If you still experience issues, please update your Internet Explorer browser using the Windows Update site and ensure all the security updates and patches are installed. See below for instructions on how to clear your temporary Internet files and cookies.
For Internet Explorer 5 and above, you can follow these directions to clear out temporary files and delete cookies.
- Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
- Click on Internet Options
- On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
- You may also want to check the box "Delete all offline content"
- Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
- You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive.
To clean up other temporary files on your computer in Windows 98 or higher:
- Click Start, Programs (or All Programs), Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup
- Choose the correct drive usually C:\
- Check the boxes in the list and delete the files
